The tiny black box shown above with antenna is a Cellular Fixed Wireless Terminal. In the USA, we have two types-one for Verizon/Alltel (CDMA) and the other for T-Mobile (GSM), both on sale for $595.00. Other carriers do not offer CSD, a service which allows attached fax machines to work with regular fax receivers. You do not need CSD to talk among terminals (creating your own private network), but to handshake with a regular home or office fax, CSD is required. You can pay with Check, Card or Paypal and we ship weekdays by 4pm.
We have been selling these for 20 years and more. You can plug in our little Panasonic Mini-Fax, ($169.95) with Cordless Handset, or one of your own. You can add a Data account and use the high speed connection for Internet.

Are you in the field without any signal? Consider a Satellite Fax Machine from Thurya or Inmarsat.
What about adding a Long Range Cordless? We have the FCC Approved Voyager 338F ($399.00) which offers 1/2 to 2 miles and can grow from one (1) line and one (1) base, up to nine (9) lines and eighty-nine (89) handsets. We also have a Base-to-Base Cordless (known as extended or remote dialtone) to take the cell signal another 1-2 miles.
Outside the USA, FCC not an issue. You can ad a Voyager base to base Long Range Cordless and extend your cellular signal 90-150km minimum, 2x more over water. Got that? Get the terminal, insert the SIM, plug in a Base to Base Long Range Cordless (30 watt to 25 watt=55 watt @ 2-3km ea.) Add a Senao SN-358+ (3 watts= 9-15km) Voice, Fax, Data Or you could ad a Voyager Base to Small Handset (30 watt to 3 watt) for 50-90km
